Volunteers are the backbone of Whale Trust.
We literally could not do the events , community outreach, and fundraisers that Whale Trust Maui puts on or participates in annually without you.
We are always looking for volunteers willing to donate their time and skills for marine research, education and conservation here in Hawaii.

Join us in January (exact dates vary annually) at The King Kamehameha Golf Club for our annual golf tournament!Volunteer duties vary each year but include setup, breakdown, registration, hole-in-one monitoring, and helping people to have a good time. Lunch is provided for all volunteers.
Whale Tales is a free multiple day public event that provides ocean enthusiasts an opportunity to learn about whales from leading scientists, photographers, filmmakers and conservationists. Types of Activities: Help with promotion and marketing, event staffing, logistics, sponsorships, education programs, setup and breakdown, information tables, receptions, and more!
Whale Trust Maui seeks volunteers to help us staff booths at community and fundraising events hosted by our colleagues throughout the year.
Whale Trust Maui is a small family with big goals and we are always looking for volunteers to help with big projects such as annual mailings, database maintenance, organizing events, etc.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help us to digitize our photo-id catalogue of humpback whale tails from Hawaii, photo processing, and to help with fluke matching projects.
We are also always open to volunteers interested in using their unique skills and expertise for specialized projects.
