At Whale Trust, we believe that fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for humpback whales and their marine habitats is as crucial as the scientific research we conduct. Our commitment to education and outreach is an integral part of our mission. We are dedicated to sharing our passion for these magnificent creatures with the community and the world.
Research led by Whale Trust scientists has been featured in documentaries on the BBC, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic International, National Public Radio, the Today show, PBS, NHK (Japanese National Broadcasting) and in National Geographic magazine (1999, 2007). Most recently, the team was featured in the award-winning giant screen IMAX film, Humpback Whales.
Through a range of programs, events, and collaborations, we aim to inspire and empower individuals of all ages to become stewards of the ocean.
