Hawaii's Humpback book coverWhale Trust featured on KITV News with Gary Sprinkle and in Honolulu Star Bulletin

Gary Sprinkle, co-anchor of the top-rated KITV-4 News at 5 and 6, and multiple award winner for Environmentalist of the Year in 5 different states, featured Jim Darling’s new book on the nightly news show calling it “the most complete and accurate book I have ever seen on humpback whales.”

Burl Burlingame Reviews Hawaii’s Humpbacks, Unveiling the Mysteries in Honolulu Star Bulletin on March 23, 2009. The article entitled, Mega Mysteries, features interviews with author, Jim Darling, and photographer, Flip Nicklin.

Burlingame has this to say about this new book by Jim Darling, Flip Nicklin, and Susan W. Barnes:
“Hawaii’s Humpbacks – Unveiling the Mysteries is a splendid and colorful handbook about the creatures, which visit Hawaii every winter. Written by cetologist Jim Darling, photographed by National Geographic’s Flip Nicklin and charmingly illustrated by Susan W. Barnes, the book is a handy guide – not to everything we know about humpbacks, but to everything we know so far about humpbacks.”
