Host a Fundraising Event

Maui supporters JoRene and Gunars Valkirs held a special reception to support Whale Trust at their home in Kapalua.

Approximately 100 guests were invited to share the blessing of their just completed, spectacular home, and were treated to a wonderful evening filled with great food and wine, friends, and wonderful conversation.

Make an Online Contributionphoto: humback whale

We invite you to make an online contribution in support of Whale Trust’s field research and outreach programs. As a contributor to Whale Trust you will help us to communicate our research to an increasingly curious public and scientific community.

All contributors to Whale Trust will receive a copy of our annual newsletter at the end of each season. Donors contributing more than $1,000 will receive a special gift (e.g., signed Flip Nicklin photograph, calendar, DVD featuring our work) at the end of the year.

We hope you will consider including Whale Trust in your plans for this year’s charitable contributions. Since most of the administrative expenses of Whale Trust are already covered, you can be assured at least 90% of your contribution will go directly to research and education projects and not overhead.

Randy Puckett

This year, Randy Puckett unveiled two new sculptures to benefit whale research on Maui at the fourth annual Whale Quest Kapalua. The latest sculptures featured a pair of humpbacks, entitled THE DANCE and a group of dolphins, entitled PLAY TIME.

As always, Randy generously donated 50% of the cost of the sculpture during the event to Whale Quest Kapalua and we thank him for his support. This year, we raised over $10,000 in sales from Randy’s sculptures. Thank you, Randy and Gail!

Special Offer

Randy has also extended a special offer to Whale Trust supporters and friends. Between now and July 1, 2009, Randy will offer his sculptures for nearly 50% of its retail value, provided you make a contribution to Whale Trust for the majority of the difference.
